Somek's Euro Bake Off To Raise Funds For Scope!

To mark the start of the Euro 2021 Football Tournament, Somek staff and associates are taking part in a Euro themed bake off on Friday 11th June! We're looking forward to getting creative with baking cakes / fairy cakes in the Euro team colours and adding Euro flags to the final baked creations! There's also the option of dressing in Euro team colours. In return for participating, we are asking for a minimum suggested entry fee donation of £2 and for all participants to send in photos of their efforts so we can nominate a winner! This is to help raise vital funds for Scope, a charity that carries out amazing work to support disabled people. 

There are almost 14 million disabled people in the UK, that’s one in five of us. Life is harder when you’re disabled. You're twice as likely to be unemployed, getting care is a struggle and the cost of living is higher. It’s wrong. So Somek are fundraising for Scope to create a fairer society and to end disability inequality. Following the success of our pancake day challenge and Easter craft fundraiser, we’ve already raised £252 so it would be fantastic if we could add to this and really help Scope make a difference!
