We have a dedicated team of Somek staff in place, who work tirelessly behind the scenes to make sure we continue to meet our Clients’ needs and provide a high level of service at all times.

Take our associates’ team, who are responsible for bringing on board experienced clinicians, experts in their areas of specialism, who meet our strict recruitment criteria. Our rigorous training programme helps our new recruits develop into highly skilled expert witnesses, who are able to produce comprehensive, robustly-argued, well-structured reports that adhere to relevant legal tests and principles. 

Somek’s eagle-eyed reports team play a vital role in proof reading the reports to ensure they are of the highest quality – checking they are free of typos and grammatical errors and making sure they are formatted correctly. The reports team are also responsible for scrutinising the reports closely for clarity and to ensure they meet our high quality assurance standards prior to submission.

Our fantastic Clinical Business Management (CBM) team, headed by Occupational Therapist and expert witness Elise Warner, know the business of the expert witness role inside and out. They deal with all enquiries and instructions and Solicitors can rest assured that they will get the very best clinicians and expert witnesses for each and every case.  

Our admin staff, which includes dedicated case handlers, work hard to ensure all your enquiries and questions are dealt with quickly and efficiently. They also make sure each case runs as smoothly as possible – coordinating everything from report deadlines and expert meetings to case conferences and court dates.   

Our Client Relationship Manager, Yvonne Lane, is happy to meet with Solicitors about other ways we can best tailor our service to meet your individual needs, including providing your fee earners with presentations and training sessions on a range of topics.
