Introduction

I am an experienced paediatric neurology physiotherapist with a Master’s in Physiotherapy, which I obtained in 2007. I spent 12 years working within the NHS, specialising in paediatric physiotherapy early in my career (2010). Over the years, I have developed extensive expertise in cerebral palsy and child development. In 2018, I founded ABC Physiotherapy, focusing on complex paediatric neurological cases, and in 2022, I established ABC Therapy Ltd to extend physiotherapy care to adults.

I am passionate about staying at the forefront of new techniques and modalities, integrating various therapy concepts—including Dynamic Movement Therapy, Bobath techniques, electrotherapy, and hydrotherapy—to help clients reach their full potential. Research and development remain key areas of interest, and I actively pursue training to stay at the leading edge of physiotherapy advancements. I have extensive experience with a range of specialist equipment, particularly vibration therapy, the Innowalk, standing frames and walking frames.

Additionally, I am a member of the Medical Legal Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (MLACP), having undergone training in medico-legal report writing and expert witness responsibilities. Since 2019, I have worked closely with case managers, deputies, and solicitors, providing detailed therapy assessments, identifying appropriate equipment, and delivering comprehensive cost breakdowns.

I value close collaboration with families, multidisciplinary teams, and legal professionals, recognising the importance of trust, joint decision-making, and open communication to ensure the child’s best interests remain at the forefront of their therapy.

I accept instructions from both claimant and defendant solicitors and insurers. I have undergone formal training in the medico-legal process and fully understand my responsibilities under the Civil Procedure Rules (CPR) regarding expert witnesses.
