Introduction

I qualified as an Occupational Therapist in 2008. Throughout my career as an Occupational Therapist and Case Manager I have developed the clinical knowledge, confidence and experience to deal with a wide range of physical, cognitive and psychological injuries. My expertise in complex orthopaedic injuries, brain injury, dementia care and working age adults with mental health conditions enables me to utilise and interpret clinical information in order to recommend appropriate rehabilitation plans for clients.

I have developed extensive knowledge of working in complex discharge teams and Social Services, in which my role has involved, assessing clients needs, formulating  treatment plans, utilising standardised assessments and liaison with external/internal organisations to ensure the best outcome is achieved for my client. Ongoing risk assessments and contributing to care plans are paramount to the role.

I have developed several years of experience as a Case Manager as well as over 15 years of practising as an Occupational Therapist. I am confident and competent regarding treatment pathways within the NHS and Social Care. 

I accept instructions from both claimant and defendant solicitors and insurers. I have undergone formal training in the medico-legal process and am fully aware of my responsibilities under Civil Procedure Rules (CPR) pertaining to expert witnesses.
