Introduction

I am an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner with over a decade of expertise in general practice, managing both acute, undifferentiated presentations and chronic disease. My role involves independent clinical decision-making, assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning, including prescribing where appropriate. I have extensive experience working as the on-call clinician, managing urgent cases, triaging patients effectively, and managing complex clinical situations with confidence and efficiency. My ability to work autonomously while maintaining a high standard of patient care ensures that I provide safe, evidence-based treatment within a primary care setting. In addition to my consultation work, I also undertake minor surgical procedures and perform joint injections, enhancing the range of treatments available within the practice and improving patient access to care.

Beyond my work in general practice, I have previously held roles as a Community Matron and Respiratory Nurse Specialist, where I managed complex long-term conditions, provided advanced clinical care, and supported patients in their homes to prevent unnecessary hospital admissions. Earlier in my career, I worked as an Accident & Emergency staff nurse, which provided me with a strong foundation in urgent and emergency care, further developing my ability to assess and manage patients presenting with a wide range of acute conditions. My extensive clinical experience, combined with a commitment to professional development and high-quality patient care, enables me to adapt to the evolving demands of primary care while ensuring safe and effective management of patients.

I accept instructions from both claimant and defendant solicitors and insurers. I have undergone formal training in the medico-legal process and am fully aware of my responsibilities under Civil Procedure Rules (CPR) pertaining to expert witnesses.
