RGN, Adaption to NMC Registration, Independent & Supplementary Prescribing, Diploma in Diabetes Care
I am a Nurse Practitioner / Prescriber who has worked in Primary Care for 14 years. I have worked mainly in General Practice but also in an Out Of Hours service undertaking face to face initial assessment examination and diagnosis.
My interests and skills include women’s health - particularly sexual health and initiating contraception, sexual health screening and cytology.
I am experienced in chronic disease management for COPD, Asthma and Diabetes. I have carried out home visits in the past to monitor housebound patients for these conditions and currently for ‘on the day’ minor illness.
I have significant experience in administering childhood immunisations and providing advice and vaccinations regarding travel health.
My current work involves respiratory consultations, women’s health and ‘On the Day’ face to face minor illness clinics at a single handed general practice.
I accept instructions from both Claimant and Defendant Solicitors and Insurers. I have undergone formal training in the medico-legal process and am fully aware of my responsibilities under the Civil Procedure Rules (CPR) pertaining to Expert Witnesses.
