BSc (Hons) Podiatry, MSc Theory of Podiatric Surgery, PG Dip, PG Cert
I qualified from the University of Northampton in 2006 with an Upper Class Honours degree in Podiatry. I immediately worked for the National Health Service and continued with postgraduate academic education gaining a Master’s degree in the Theory of Podiatric Surgery. All areas of Podiatric disciplines are challenging and I chose to specialise in High Risk and Musculoskeletal Podiatry.
In the clinical setting I treat patients from both the adult and paediatric populations. I am also currently a registered Podiatric Surgical Trainee with the aim to become a reflective and competent clinician to qualify in Podiatric Surgery and gain Fellowship status with the Faculty of Surgery of the College of Podiatrists.
I believe in clinical excellence and I practice to the best of my ability. My clinical work involving patient care is led by evidence based practice combined with a holistic approach. With the continuous advances in medicine I believe it is an obligation to maintain learning and bring this into my clinical practice. I attend courses and conferences relevant to my clinical roles as well as maintaining self-directed learning. I enjoy learning and sharing my knowledge with my colleagues, students and my patients.
I accept instructions from both Claimant and Defendant Solicitors and Insurers. I have undergone formal training in the medico-legal process and am fully aware of my responsibilities under the Civil Procedure Rules (CPR) pertaining to Expert Witnesses.
