Amanda commenced her medico-legal career in 2010 as a nursing expert witness with Somek & Associates, following an extensive clinical background in intensive care nursing. She joined the training team in 2014 and was appointed Team Lead in 2018. Amanda leads a team of Associate Trainers responsible for recruitment, training, and the professional development of liability Associates. The team draw upon their own expert witness experience to bring training to life helping Associates navigate the complexities of the role with clarity and confidence. Outside of work, she enjoys watching her son play football, her daughter dance, and walking her slightly crazy labradoodle Milo.
