Professional Experience
I qualified as a nurse in 2011 and currently work autonomously in primary care as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP), covering urgent and same-day appointments across both urban and rural practices. I also work in Out of Hours services, providing face-to-face and remote triage consultations. My patient caseload spans all age groups and socio-economic backgrounds, enabling me to develop expertise in minor illness, chronic disease management, and safeguarding for both adults and children. I routinely conduct remote assessments using virtual consultations and clinical history supported by image-based diagnostics where appropriate.
In addition to my ANP role, I run a successful medical aesthetics clinic, having qualified as an Aesthetic Practitioner in 2018. This role demands rigorous standards in informed consent, documentation, and patient safety. I am particularly focused on promoting safe practice in a sector increasingly affected by unregulated providers.
My previous roles include working as a complex wound specialist nurse, where I gained extensive experience in wound care, tissue viability, compression therapy, doppler assessment, and health promotion. I have also worked as a forensic nurse in sexual assault services, where I developed advanced documentation skills and a holistic, trauma-informed approach to care. Earlier in my career, I worked in vascular surgery, gaining experience in surgical care, drug administration, infection control, and end-of-life care. I also spent a year in a cancer research department, where I developed skills in documentation, informed consent, and clinical data review.

I have completed Independent Prescribing, Paediatric Assessment and Reasoning, and Leadership and Management qualifications, all at master’s level. These have supported my progression into advanced clinical roles and enhanced my ability to deliver safe, evidence-based care. I maintain my professional development by attending relevant training.

I accept instructions from both claimant and defendant solicitors and insurers. I have undergone formal training in the medico-legal process and am fully aware of my responsibilities under Civil Procedure Rules (CPR) pertaining to expert witnesses.
