Professional Experience
In my current role I work with a wide range of clinical conditions, particularly specialising in the assessment and provision of equipment and major adaptations that are tailored to each client's individual requirements. This optimises their functional ability within their environment. Assistive technology is also used to support clients to remain in their own homes. I utilise my knowledge of wheelchairs and postural management to maximise their comfort and function.
My skill set includes, but is not limited to: Moving and handling; home adaptations; orthopaedic conditions, spinal injuries, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, and orthopaedic lower limb injuries.
I have experience of working in both community and in-patient settings which has provided me with a breadth of clinical knowledge.
Professional Development
I maintain my professional development and HCPC standards by attending relevant training.
Medico Legal Experience
I accept instructions from both claimant and defendant solicitors and insurers. I have undergone formal training in the medico-legal process and am fully aware of my responsibilities under Civil Procedure Rules (CPR) pertaining to expert witnesses.
