Professional Experience

I qualified as an Occupational Therapist in 2010. I have experience of delivering client-centred care across a range of community settings. My background includes palliative care, rehabilitation at home, falls prevention, and specialist postural assessments within wheelchair services.

In my current role, I deliver specialist housing assessments to support independence, safety, and quality of life for adults with diverse needs through aids and major adaptations. This includes clients who have experienced strokes, falls, and palliative diagnoses such as cancers, MND and Parkinson’s. I also assess and advise moving and handling needs of the client. I am skilled in supporting individuals to maximise independence, enhance safety, and improve quality of life through tailored interventions. I have excellent assessment, problem-solving, and communication skills, I work collaboratively with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams to achieve meaningful outcomes. I am recognised for my empathy, compassion and sensitivity, enabling me to build trust and work effectively with clients and their families during challenging times.

Professional Development

I maintain my professional development and HCPC standards by attending relevant training.

Medico Legal Experience

I accept instructions from both claimant and defendant solicitors and insurers. I have undergone formal training in the medico-legal process and am fully aware of my responsibilities under Civil Procedure Rules (CPR) pertaining to expert witnesses.
