Professional Experience

I qualified as an Occupational Therapist in 2009 and spent a decade working within the NHS. My roles included Clinical Specialist Occupational Therapist in Major Trauma at King’s College Hospital and Clinical Specialist at the Lishman Unit, a neurobehavioural rehabilitation centre within the South London and Maudsley NHS Trust. I also held posts across acute neuro-rehabilitation, stroke rehabilitation, hand therapy, critical care, and neurological outpatient services.
In 2015, I transitioned into independent practice, specialising in brain injury rehabilitation. Initially working as an associate and later senior associate with Laura Slader Occupational Therapy, I provided services primarily across London.

In 2022, I established my own company to continue delivering specialist rehabilitation services. I have substantial experience managing complex brain injury rehabilitation cases requiring long-term, multidisciplinary input. My work involves coordinating large support teams and implementing tailored, team-based rehabilitation programmes. I also specialise in vocational rehabilitation, supporting clients to either maintain existing employment or transition into new roles through structured assessments and goal-oriented interventions. In addition to delivering therapy, I produce detailed assessment and progress reports and have a strong understanding of the medico-legal process.
