Introduction
Having qualified as a Registered Nurse in Mental Health in 1987 I have many years experience working in the fields of Mental Health and Ageing. I currently work as Service Manager and Lead Nurse in the service for Older People with mental health problems, for Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust, where I cover eight inpatient units, nine community mental health Teams and other specialist teams in rehabilitation and liaison.
In addition to significant clinical experience I also have experience in reviewing placements in Care Homes.
I accept instructions from both Claimant and Defendant Solicitors and Insurers. I have undergone formal training in the medico-legal process and am fully aware of my responsibilities under the Civil Procedure Rules (CPR) pertaining to Expert Witnesses.
